What to do, step by step

  1. Write down dates, times, places, witnesses and what was said or done; keep messages, emails and audio recordings obtained lawfully.

  2. If Eurobike has an internal reporting channel or ethics committee, file the incident and keep the protocol number.

  3. Contact your trade union, the MTE (Ministry of Labor and Employment, Disque 158) or the Public Labor Prosecutor’s Office (MPT) for guidance and to report the situation.

  4. Look after your health: if you are suffering psychologically, seek medical care and keep reports and medical certificates.

  5. Sexual harassment is a crime (art. 216-A of the Brazilian Penal Code) and moral damages may be compensable (arts. 223-A et seq. of the CLT (Brazilian Labor Code)); Law 14.457/2022 provides measures to prevent and combat harassment at work. Each case requires individual analysis.
