Frequently asked questions

Can I cancel my enrollment before classes start?

As a rule, yes. Cancellation should be possible, and excessive retention of amounts already paid can be challenged. The contract and the request dates matter for the review.

Can the institution charge the entire semester or year if I quit?

It depends on the contract and on when the request was made. Clauses requiring full payment unrelated to the service actually provided may be considered abusive.

I requested cancellation and I am still being charged. What should I do?

Dispute the charge with the protocol number of the request. Charges after cancellation may be improper and give rise to a refund.

Can changing courses or campuses lead to a charge?

It depends on the contract rules. Ask for the information in writing before signing or accepting any change.
