Frequently asked questions
Is there a maximum deadline to restore power?
Yes. Aneel sets maximum reconnection deadlines according to the type of occurrence and the area (urban or rural). Noncompliance generates automatic compensation on the bill.
I lost food because of the outage. Am I entitled to reimbursement?
Yes, you may request reimbursement for proven losses, such as spoiled food and damaged equipment. Keep photos, receipts and the occurrence protocol.
Can the utility cut power without notice?
No. Disconnection for nonpayment requires prior notice and generally cannot occur on Fridays, weekends or the eve of a holiday.
Can constant power failures lead to compensation?
Frequent interruptions that cause loss may lead to damages, in addition to automatic compensation provided by Aneel (DIC, FIC and DMIC indicators).
